My Dishwasher won’t turn on??

Check to see if power cord is plugged into the power point and the power point works. The power point is usually located in the cupboard next to the dishwasher or under the sink. Check that the power cord is plug in and make sure it’s not damaged in anyway. Then check the power point itself. An easy way to check is to plug is to plug in a small appliance like a hair dryer and make sure it works. If power point is working check if the main switch on the dishwasher is turned on and that the door closes properly.

My Dishwasher won’t Fill!?

Most dishwashers will drain for a minute at the start of any cycle, it should then start filling. If this doesn’t happen firstly make sure your tap is turned on. The tap is usually located in the cupboard next to the dishwasher or under the sink. While you’re there you can also check the inlet hose isn’t kinked.

My plates are coming out dirty!?

Firstly check the filters are clean, these are located in the base of the dishwasher. Secondly, check your rinse aid levels & top up if need be. Does your machine fill with water? Can hear the pump “pumping” out? If these are ok, check that the spray arms rotate. If they don’t you may need to remove them and clean them out. Sometimes they become clogged with food particles and won’t spin.  Another reason could be the dishwasher is not heating the water, if this is the case please call Matic for a service or Book on-line today!..
